Hi, and thanks for reading my blog. I’ll be checking in here now! As for shaadi ke videos, my husband always suggests the U2 song, “Lady With the Spinning Head”.
“What is it one to do,
if all there is just words
short and sweet.
nice and crispy
You never know,
you may find yourself
in places, near and far
removed from the need
of hunger and contemplation
as the mutiny of mind takes effect
in the distance, empty words!”
just read through your blog and i find it very interesting thanx for giving us good info.if you can add kids entertainment places section in it will be a grate.
you’re a muslim? Great! where are you living in?
I’m from Malaysia. Well, where are you from?
and how old are you? By the way, my name is Hidayah. Nice to meet you!
~ Assalam o Alaikum, sister Hidayah. Thank you so much for visiting my blog. The answers to all your questions are dispersed throughout my posts, so the more you read, the more you’ll get to know me. If I gave you all the details now, you wouldn’t be reading my blog anymore, hehe 😉
Your blog really does stand out in my mind, and that’s pretty amazing considering how critical and cynical I can be. I truly appreciate your posts and hope you keep it up!
Hey – I hope its ok that i am going to add the copyright logo following link in your blog to register my work as well with the copyright mark – I think its cool 😉
No need to ask, Asma; you may go ahead and add the logo 🙂
Keep seeing you commenting on Specs ki blog, so I followed the link and ended up here.
I HEART the blog URL. It is ace. I also the heart that cute little quote at the top of this page. And I heart this guestbook page. I heart your “My Shelf” page, I think it is a great idea. I heart a lot of other things but I will limit myself (for now).
Looking forward to reading some great posts, insha’Allah,
Assalamu Alaikum Nadia!
I love your blog and I love your marriage even more, which is why I said Masha Allah. 🙂 Since I will be marrying very soon Insha Allah , I have been looking for pre-marriage advice. I read all your posts tagged marriage and loved your advice. May Allah reward you and increase the love between you and your husband. Masha Allah again!
Walaikum Assalam. Ameen to your dua, Sis. It’s really very sweet of you 🙂
I’m glad you liked the posts, which I wrote as honestly as I can, from my heart. May Allah bless you with a blessed and happy marriage.
I just stumbled onto your blog–seems like a nice place to hang out. Although I only spend 8 months in Dubai last year, I fell in love with it –I have returned to Florida and miss the daily life; when I started reading some of your posts, I felt like I was there again–and I am looking forward to reading more!

Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.
I must tell you how I feel so delighted when I found your blog. Masya-Allah! You have such a wonderful blog, I love it the moment I set my eyes on it.
Getting to know another muslimah’s life experience from the other part of the world attracts me so much. I would love to know more about you. Perhaps we could exchange knowledge and views on Islam and many more in the future. I have a blog too, but mine is new and too plain to attract readers. Maybe you can teach me how I can improve my blog.
I pray you the best of health. May Allah bless you always in what ever you do.
Salam ukhwah from Malaysia.
Walaikum Assalam, Atie! Thank you so much for your kind words, ameen to you dua, and welcome to the Purple Journal!
baba ali from ummah films tweeted a link to this blog so i thought id check it out…& i have to say im very impressed, what an amazing journal, mashaAllah! keep blogging *iA* 🙂
Enjoying my visit (once again) to your beautiful country. I have several neighbours in my apartment building who have lived extensively in the Middle East. I am intrigued by your commentaries and food. Will attempt Lemon Rice…the easy one on your list and proceed from there.
I really enjoyed the blog about the Jinn concerning the “ghost” stuff. My soon-to-be wife saw something in a movie theatre here in the U.S. ( and she’s not the first, though she priorly didn’t know anything about it). It scared he pretty bad, so I was browsing for a good hour or so before i came upon this wonderful site. I’ll probably hit it up again for those recipes, they just don’t have good food like that over here xD.
Nice blog!
Keep it up!
Awesome:)
